Research Scholar/Faculty, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, North Carolina State University
I completed my doctoral degree (Dr. rer. nat.) from the Department of Microsystems Engineering (IMTEK) at the University of Freiburg, Germany. Currently, I hold a research scholar/faculty position in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at North Carolina State University. My research interest is centered around the synthesis and characterization of functional polymer coatings or composite materials for various industrial application including automotive/architectural windows (slippery surfaces), blood contacting devices (non-thrombogenic surfaces), protein filtration and water purification (modification of non-woven fabrics) to mention a few.
