Pietro Asinari is Professor of heat and mass transfer at the Department of Energy of "Politecnico di Torino" in Italy and the principal investigator of the Multi-Scale Modeling Laboratory - SMaLL (www.polito.it/small). He is member of the Operational Management Board (OMB) of the European Materials Modelling Council (http://emmc.info) and member of the OpenKIM Advisory Board about molecular simulations (https://openkim.org/). He is currently work package leader of many European projects about materials modelling. More specifically, he is interested in enginery solutions for sustainability. He is author or co-author of over 100 peer reviewed international papers, including some on Nature journals.
