Graduate Research Assistant
My research career spans two major fields: mechanics of materials, and system dynamics. Throughout my MSc and PhD my work was involved with analytical modelling, numerical simulations, and lots of experiments. I spend most of my time designing and installing test setups for unique experiments especially those to explore tiny samples. Currently working on the microfabrication and testing of silicon microbeams insitu inside SEM chamber to understand their thermomechanical properties. In addition, I am testing soft microtissues in-vitro under tension after developing a novel technique for self assembly and clamping of soft samples.
